VISION Scientific Simulations

Thanks to the powerful XSDL language, VISION can not only be used to develop SCADA applications, but to run simulation tasks, such as scientific simulation processes. Even on several million objects, like modeling the universe, or when calculating the orbital speed of stars in spiral galaxies.

 

Basic requirement is to execute such tasks real-time, within few milliseconds cycle, and to run these tasks in separate threads, moreover multithreaded. Otherwise, we should wait for the results unexpectedly long.

 

My first presentation is the simplest experiment in the world: the Doppler effect. The change in frequency of wave in relation to an observer who is moving relative to the wave source. When objects are closing to us, the frequency of the sound from the object is higher then moving to the opposite direction. Light waves behave similarly.
